1. Nature of Service

Baray ("The Service") is a technical middleware and software integration service provided by BARAY LAB CO., LTD. Baray is not a bank, payment service provider (PSP), or financial institution. We do not hold, store, or transmit funds on behalf of merchants or customers.

2. Regulatory Status

All financial transactions facilitated through the Baray API are processed directly by our partner banks, which are fully licensed and regulated by the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC). Baray acts solely as a technical data conduit to facilitate these connections.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Baray shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

• Failed, delayed, or erroneous banking transactions.
• Bank system outages or maintenance periods.
• Errors in merchant implementation of the API.
• Funds frozen or held by banking partners for compliance reasons.

4. No Financial Advice

The information provided in our documentation, website, and support channels is for technical implementation purposes only. It does not constitute financial, legal, or tax advice. Merchants are responsible for ensuring their use of the service complies with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

5. Service Availability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime for our API gateway, we cannot guarantee the availability of the underlying banking networks. Bank maintenance windows and downtime are outside of Baray's control.
